The 2nd Annual RTJ Society Northeast Regional Outing was held July 9th at Anglebrook Golf Club. A record 48 participants from 6 regional members participated. A big thank you goes out to Matt Sullivan from Anglebrook and his staff for making this a great event! Teams from Wiltwyck, North Hills, Anglebrook, West Point, Black Hall, and Tuxedo were on hand.
Participants were greeted with bag tags and lunch. Before the shotgun start, Society Executive Director David Cardwell and President David Leigh went over RTJS news. Matt Sullivan reminded everyone they were playing RTJ Sr.’s last design and pointed out prominent features of the course. A buffet dinner awaited participants at the close of play.
Congratulations to the Anglebrook team of Phillip Drogin, Alex Massimi, Shin Murakami and Brian Wallach who narrowly pulled out the Team victory by one stroke over the 2nd place team from the Tuxedo Club and won the Jones Cup team trophy. Congratulations also to Individual Low Gross winner, Chad Bagley from West Point Golf Club who shot 3 over par, 75 and to Bill Collins from Wiltwyck Golf Club, who won the Low Net plaque with a net even under par, 72.
Also congratulations to the CTP winners on hole #8, Steve Whipple from West Point Golf Club who hit his shot to 1′ 9″ and Rich Paterson from Black Hall Club who hit his shot on hole #14 to inside of 9 0’. Skins prizes were also awarded.
